※Explanation on the tour will be in Japanese only.
※Those who participate in the guided tour of the residence can also visit “Shimizu Corporation Historical Archives” before or after the tour without making a reservation.(You can visit freely.)“Shimizu Corporation Historical Archives”
Visit Reservation
Reservations are required. (Lottery system)
※Preschool children are not allowed to visit.
※Junior high school students and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please check the "Requests from Us" section and apply for the lottery through the reservation site.
Reservations can only be made once per month, for up to four people per reservation.
If you want to change the number of people after applying,
Before the lottery:Please cancel through the link in the email you receive from the reservation site after booking.
After winning the lottery:Cannot be changed.
Lottery Application
- Reservation Period
- From the 20th of the two months prior of the visit ~ Until the last day of the two months prior of the visit.
- Lottery Date
- The lottery results will be sent by e-mail on the 1st day of the preceding month of the visit.
e.g., When applying for a tour held in May,
・Reservation Period: From March 20th ~ Until March 31st
・Lottery day: On April 1st, the lottery results will be sent by e-mail.
If there are vacancies or cancellations after the lottery date, applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the 7 days before (previous Thursday) the tour date.

Admission
1,000 yen (tax included)
※Payment by credit card only. On-site payment is not accepted.
※Please enter your credit card information when applying for the lottery. Depending on your credit card settings, you may receive a usage notification after applying for the lottery, but the payment will be made on the day of the tour only who are selected by the lottery.
※If you need a receipt, please ask at the reception desk on the tour date. Only one receipt will be issued per application. It cannot be issued to each accompanying guests individually.
Cancellation Policy
If you want to cancel, please cancel through the link in the email you receive from the reservation site after booking.

The Day of Your Visit

Please gather all your accompanying guests and come to the entrance reception on the 1st floor at “Shimizu Corporation Historical Archives.”

The person who made the reservation should present the QR code, which can be obtained from the email sent by the reservation site after booking, at the reception desk.
Requests from Us
Please read this before visiting.

You must remove your shoes inside the residence. Please ensure that you wear socks.

Photography is permitted for personal and non-commercial use only.
However, photography is prohibited in some exhibits.
Please do NOT the following:- ・Using equipment such as tripods or selfie sticks.
- ・Engaging in behavior that may inconvenience other visitors (e.g. cutting in line, staying in one spot for extended periods to take photos, etc.). When taking photos, please ensure that other visitors are not included in your pictures.

Some rooms in the residence do not have air conditioning. Thank you for your understanding.

In the summer, there are a lot of mosquitoes. Please take your own measures.

To protect the residence, please store the large luggage in the lockers (free of charge) and umbrellas in the umbrella stands, both located on the 1st floor in the Shimizu Corporation Historical Archives.

Please follow the guide's instructions during the tour.

Please do not touch the residence or exhibits.

Please use pencils instead of ballpoint pens or mechanical pencils.

Please set your phone to silent mode and refrain from talking on the phone during the tour.

Eating and drinking are not allowed inside the residence.

Smoking is prohibited on the NOVARE premises, including the Former Shibusawa Residence.

If you use a cane, please bring one for indoor use.

If you use a wheelchair, please consult us using the form in “Contact Us” before applying for the lottery.
Please be sure to be accompanied by a caregiver (up to one person in principle). Caregivers are free of charge.
To protect the cultural asset, please use the indoor wheelchair (Width 550mm, Load capacity 100kg) in the residence that we have provided.
Only those who can switch to a wheelchair may visit the tour.
Even if you meet the above requirements, the area that can be visited may be limited depending on the local situation. Thank you for your understanding. -
If you require any other assistance, please consult us using the form in “Contact Us” before applying for the lottery.

We may be temporarily closed depending on the situation due to weather warnings or traffic conditions such as train suspensions.
We will notify you latest information on our website and by e-mail to the tour participants. In this case, the tour will not be rescheduled. The admission will be refunded, but other expenses (e.g., transportation costs, accommodation costs) are not covered. Thank you for your understanding.

Resale of the QR code is prohibited. We are not responsible for any trouble caused by duplicating the QR code.
